Good point. I think the main benefits for micro frontends are:

1. Legacy support. That seems to be the main driver in the use cases I’ve seen. It certainly is for us at Weld.
2. More independence in a larger development team, where separate teams could create their own “micro product” as part of a bigger product.

And I agree, the IFrame solution doesn’t sound like a great approach…
